The performance will take place at 4pm on Sunday, November 12th. Keith Gordon, composer of "Little Mary", also wrote the music for the critically acclaimed musical "Saint Heaven", which was awarded the 2006 NMTN Director's Choice and received a "Special NY Preview" at the 2006 New York Musical Theater Festival. David will be part of a team participating in the National Film Challenge Oct. 20 -23rd. The National Film Challenge is a timed filmmaking competition where filmmaking teams have just one weekend to make a short film! Last year 161 teams from 32 states competed. This year the competition is open to filmmaking teams from around the globe. More details here. "Super Power Blues" named a finalist at ShockerFest"Super Power Blues," a short film written and directed by Greg Pak and with music by David Libby, has been named a finalist in the Science Fiction Mini-Shorts category at ShockerFest. ShockerFest is a science fiction, fantasy and horror film festival which takes place October 7 and 8 in Modesto, California. "Holiday Hamptons" to appear in NY Asian American International Film FestivalThe Greg Pak film "Holiday Hamptons Camp for Troubled Couples", with music by David Libby, can be seen at the Asian American International Film Festival in New York City at 8:30 pm on Friday, July 14 at the Quad Cinema. Rachel York performs David's ArrangementsRachel York will perform David's arrangments of "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" and "I Dreamed a Dream" at a Sept. 29th concert in North Carolina to benefit PETA. Rachel writes, "David is ultra sensitive to the singers needs. He can play anything and his arrangements are tailored to show you at your best." Self described as “looking like Rent but sounding like Showboat ,” de Suze presents an evening of cabaret that mixes styles and genres. More info here. David recently played rehearsals for the new musical Saint Heaven. The cast includes Tony winner Chuck Cooper and Deborah Gibson, and it's being directed by Matt Lenz. The show premiers at the SCA Rich Forum in Stamford on June 1st. David will be co-leading audition workshops with Tina Marie Casamento at Summerfest in Birmingham, Alabama from June 11th - 25th. This is a great program for talented young performers. David will be playing the upcoming production of The World Goes 'Round at the Saco River Grange Theatre in Bar Mills, Maine (July 19th - July 30th). David recently returned from Los Angelas where he played Hairspray national tour auditions. Other recent auditions include the national tour of Annie, the new musical Saint Heaven, and the New York auditions for Hairspray.
